Free Woodlot Evaluation
Highest Prices Paid for your Standing Timber
How can we do that?
We manage the entire process from Logging to Retail. No middle men, and no wholesalers means we can pay more for your timber.
Major upgrades to our sawmill have quadrupled our processing volume and reduced costs which means we can pay more for your timber.
Sustainable Forest Management
To maximize the return on your woodlot, we will mark only mature trees and also trees that will not have any future appreciation (such as diseased, leaning, fallen and trees with lightning strike etc.). This ensures that the future value of your woodlot will continue to grow and allow a higher frequency of harvests.
To maintain a healthy Appalachian forest it should be properly harvested every 7-10 years depending on soil conditions.
If you don’t harvest, over mature trees will shade out new undergrowth. Over harvesting will open up the canopy too much which actually stunts growth.
We at Springwater Mills believe that your woodlot should be managed in such a way that maximizes the potential of your renewable resource while maintaining a healthy forest.
We will gladly free of charge evaluate your forest and provide and provide you with a detailed current value and future expectation.
